Yim Yim in Obing

In my opinion one of the best Thai restaurants in the entire region. Location not particularly cozy, but the food makes up for that in several ways.

As a regular customer (I was already in Traunreut) I have to do the following determine: Since the remaining cook (boss) is often sick (despite 2 rest days) you often stand in front of a locked door! Missing personnel policy! The food is not as good as it used to be, and unfortunately the prices are too high!

All dishes are prepared with fresh Thai spices. Simply Thai delicious 👍 highly recommended. Sometimes a bit of waiting

If you want to eat good Asian food, you should make a detour to Obing. Absolutely top 👍

Food is freshly prepared with attention to detail and fresh, seasonal ingredients that also serve European seasonal vegetables. My duck dish was significantly higher in quality than the usual Thai restaurants and the sauce had a great spiciness. For 16 euros certainly not cheap, but definitely worth the price. Clear recommendation

Best Thai, food tastes fresh, delicious and just like in Thailand itself. We have always been very happy to return to Yim Yim for years. I can only recommend!

Previously our favorite Thai, today only 2nd choice. Waiting times of up to 2 hours on the main course are not uncommon here. Unfortunately, the food is from year to year worse. Price performance is unfortunately only insufficient.

4 stars because the food was really good. The price / performance ratio is justified. If you want to eat cheap you are here at the wrong address. BUT The food is delicious, fresh and without all the glutamate stuff. My wife does not like every Asian but here everything was great The staff was super nice and took care of us every time. The one star I pull off for the long wait. At 13:30 clock, not much going on, it should go a little faster. In addition, I am sensitive if I have to wait a long time and those at the next table get the food rather despite later order. Nevertheless, it was really delicious and I would come back.

Very delicious Thai cuisine and great ambience with top service

Super delicious Thaiessen with friendly service near the Chiemsee. If you don't want to eat typical Bavarian food after a trip to Lake Chiemsee or to Seeon Abbey, you've come to the right place. All dishes freshly prepared and arranged in an appetizing manner. Unfortunately closed on Sundays and public holidays!

I really liked the restaurant as it has great food & a nice atmosphere. And it was one of my fav restaurants in the area despite the high prices. Recently tho they do not offer any vegan options anymore. They argued that they use fish sauce. Anyway, if they do use fish sauce in their veg options it's even not veg anymore. So no more reason to go there for me and my family.
